Jerry M. Soucy

Jerry Soucy is Vice President of Leasing and Tenant Representation for Real Property Specialists, Inc., and has over thirty years experience in retailing and commercial real estate. After graduating from the University of Connecticut Jerry began a twenty four year career with CVS Pharmacy where he had multi store operations responsibilities and progressed to the position of Vice President of Real Estate. During this period the company grew from 160 stores to over 4,000 and Jerry was consistently recognized as a top performer.

In 1999 Jerry became a partner in a company focused on retail developments in the Northeast and Florida. He returned to retailing in 2003 as Vice President of Real Estate for Avenue, a women’s apparel chain of 500 stores headquartered in New Jersey and was part of a team that brought the company to new levels of growth and profitability. More recently Jerry has focused on tenant representation both on a local and national basis, working with developers and leasing agents to analyze potential sites and negotiate profitable transactions for the represented clients.

Jerry has completed deals in most areas of the country and is regarded as a dedicated businessman with integrity; striving for a win-win result in every transaction. He is a member of ICSC and has served on several special committees and retail forums. Additionally he has completed special courses in real estate law, finance, the Negotiation Institute, and Dale Carnegie. He has performed volunteer service for Medical Mission International which provides short-term medical and surgical care to people in underserved regions of the world.
