Steve Salzman
Director of Leasing

Steve Salzman is Director of Leasing  for Real Property Specialists, Inc based in Coral Springs and  representing the South Florida region. Steve specializes in Tenant Representation  and will also serve as a  Shopping Center consultant on  specialty projects throughout the region.

He served as Regional Manager of Leasing for Collective Brands from 2001-2008 representing  Florida and Alabama where he was responsible for a 300+  portfolio of stores under the Payless ShoeSource and Stride Rite  banners.

While serving as Regional Manager of Leasing at Collective Brands , Steve identified and opened over 150 new locations for Payless ShoeSource  in the SE region. He also directed and managed the lease renewal process there , accounting  for over 800 leasing transactions including renewals, relocations, closings and dispositions

 He also served as Director of Retail Operations for Payless ShoeSource, Inc and Footlocker, Inc in the Miami, FL and Detroit, Mi markets.

Most recently , Steve has served as Director of Real Estate for Schottenstein Realty Group of Miami where he oversaw all aspects of  development, leasing and management for  several shopping centers throughout Florida and Tennessee

As a result of these and other professional experiences, Steve possesses particular knowledge and experience in retail, merchandising,  marketing, finance , strategy, logistics and commerce that  strengthen the company’s collective qualifications, skills and expertise.
